Rob has lived in Brisbane for twenty five years and has called Pallara home for seven of those years. Previously a tradesman, Rob’s growing interest in the environment and community issues led him to study Environmental Management and consequently to the position of Project Officer with Oxley Creek Catchment Association.

Rob’s commitment to catchment management and urban planning issues, especially in the ward of Parkinson and the Oxley Creek catchment has resulted in him participating on the Lord Mayor’s ‘Oxley Creek Taskforce’ and the Lower Oxley Creek and Paradise Wetland Community Planning Team.
He
has experienced first hand the impact on local communities and the
natural environment that comes from providing extra housing and
infrastructure for an ever increasing population.
Rob and the Greens will fight for better public and private transport options, protection of our green space and natural bushland areas and genuine community consultation regarding the future of the new ward of Parkinson.
