Labor/Liberal public transport shame file

Bus01 The Greens today released the public transport shame list, proving that both Labor and Liberal have failed on public transport. Ms Jo Bragg, Greens Lord Mayoral Candidate said today, "The best guide to future action is past action, and the Greens have logged the disastrous record of Labor and Liberal on public transport issues and produced the shame file. It is hard to pick out the most nonsensical  things the major parties have done as the shame list is so long."

Bragg stands out in Property Council Debate

Jo_cropped_smaller While Newman and Rowell bickered, Greens Lord Mayoral Candidate Jo Bragg used her address to the Property Council to repeat her calls for a ban to developer donations, for unsustainable growth to stop and for Council's transport priorities to be put on public transport, walking and cycling. Greens launch air quality policy

ALP and the Libs are the same

Hello all,

The ALP and Libs have the same agenda and vote together on anything that matters, promoting bloated unsustainable  development in Brisbane with all its associated problems. They voted together for Transapex tunnels and bridges which will increase congestion, encourage private car use and cause Brisbane's Greenhouse gas emissions to soar.

Both the ALP and Libs accept electoral donations from commercial interests, promoting an unhealthy relationship between big business and council decisions.

Ony the Greens have a genuine long term vision for Brisbane, not tunnel vision.

My challenge is to punch through the public relations machines of the ALP and Libs; to communicate to the general public that the Brisbane they love is doomed unless they embrace and elect the independent, thoughtful and active Greens.
