Reasons to vote Green in Pullenvale

  1. To support local communities with improved services such as a library for Bellbowrie, and a linked network of bicycle paths.

  2. To develop a sustainable transport corridor based
on light rail, improved bus time-tables and bicycle path networks as
opposed to endless road upgrades and expensive and unwanted bridges,
    tunnels and toll roads.

  3. To support and expand the efforts of the Brisbane City Council in
ensuring a sustainable water supply through household water tanks,
water recycling and promoting improved water efficiency.

  4. To ensure that future land development in the
region is consistent with best practice principles of sustainability
and thus maintain and improve the quality of life of new and
existing residents alike. The process of development evaluation must
be transparent and communities must be empowered to actively
    participate in this decision-making.

  5. To ensure that the Brisbane City Council
implements best practice principles in its own operations in terms
    of
waste management and energy and water
    efficiency.
