Sean Marler will run for the Greens in Richlands and take a significant vote away from Labor and Liberal. Sean is an environmental scientist and has worked in the sustainable forestry industry for eight years. Contact him on 38460862. There will be a swing away from Labor in this ward as career politician Milton Dick takes Les Bryant's job. Voters outraged with Labor but not willing to vote Liberal now have a great alternative.
5 reasons to vote for Sean Marler in Richlands
1. Celebrate the multicultural diversity of Richlands. I will
work with the local community to create a safer, vibrant and healthier place to
live and I will organise more local social events such as picnics, sports days,
festivals and native tree planting days.
2. Increase public transport and decrease car use. Buses,
trains and cycling are the ‘green’ way to travel – TransApex tunnels will cost the
community billions, increase traffic on our roads and pollute our breathing air.
3. Preserve our natural bush land and heritage values. As an
environmental scientist, I am concerned at the rapid rate of environmental
destruction and I will work hard to protect our dwindling green spaces.
4. Re-invigorate training and education in Richlands for
families, youth, unemployed and business owners. I will work hard to create meaningful
local employment for local people.
5. Support sustainable planning and development to provide more affordable housing to low income earners. I promote the use of eco-friendly design and materials such as water tanks, solar panels and organic vegetable gardens.
