Campaign donations from wealthy property developers are a fact of political life, the Labor Party said today.
ALP State Secretary and Brisbane City Council hopeful Milton Dick rejected a call from Greens lord mayoral candidate Jo-Anne Bragg to ban property developers from giving money to political parties.

Ms Bragg said campaign donations such as a $50,000 gift to Liberal Lord Mayor Campbell Newman from Consolidated Properties were "undemocratic".
"The political donations system stinks," she said.
"Property developers are not charities, they give to the ALP and Libs hoping for favours and taking advantage of weak laws on donations."
